What is Sales Leadership?
In addition to serving customers as an AVON Representative, you can grow your own team of Representatives. Not only do you earn commission from your sales as a Representative but from every member of your team, up to 12% per Representative in your direct team. So the more team members you have the more you earn! And it doesn’t stop there, train your team members to become Sales Leaders and you earn commission from their team’s sales too. This works up to three generations and is known as Multi-Level Marketing (MLM). Do I have to be a Representative to be a Sales Leader?
Yes you do. The best way to lead is by example. You will be able to use your experience as a Representative to train and motivate your team. It also provides you with a common ground in which to establish a good working relationship with your Representatives.
Can anyone be a Sales Leader?
Yes, you don’t need qualifications or any previous experience just determination and desire to achieve. Join with AVON Cornwall and you will receive full training and continued support in starting and developing your business.
In Business for yourself not by yourself
With AVON Sales Leadership you are your own boss, how you run your business is entirely up to you provided you are working within AVON’s guidelines. Your upline Sales Leader is there for support and to provide expert training and advice. AVON has plenty of great online business tools at your disposal to assist you in your AVON Business. With all the tools and training available, you can take your business to the level you want. Being your own boss does require self-motivation, knowing what you want to achieve whether it be a better life for your family or enough money to pay for a lovely holiday once a year can give you the focus to succeed.
How much time do I need to put in to it?
That is entirely down to you. You can choose to put in as much or as little hours as you like. If you want to achieve a full time income from Sales Leadership then the more time you have available the easier it will be to grow your team quickly and you will benefit from greater earnings sooner. But you can fit it in around other commitments such as family or work and grow your team at your own pace. We will work with you to plan your time effectively based on what you want to achieve from Sales Leadership with the time you have available to devote to your business.
What can I expect to earn?
This is not a salaried position. You will be running your own AVON business and receiving commission based on your team sales. It is important to be realistic about what you will earn within your first year. Sales Leader status is easily achieved, Advanced Sales Leaders status is achievable quickly with hard work and good support. It is unlikely you will achieve Executive or Senior Executive Level within the first 8 months of starting Sales Leadership but it’s not impossible.

There are 18 payments a year from Sales Leadership, that’s every three weeks and every two weeks over the Christmas period. The commission you earn as a Sales Leader is paid directly into your bank account.
What other benefits are there to Sales Leadership?
There are cash bonuses for achieving Sales Leadership and working towards/achieving Advanced Sales Leader status. These bonuses are in addition to your commission, there is AVON’s Business Development Bonus reward incentives. This is just the beginning, the cash bonuses for Executive and Senior Executive Sales Leaders are fantastic.
AVON Cornwall run’s its own Sales Leader incentives in addition to that of AVON’s. Not quite as glam as a free holiday, but we as a team believe in recognising and rewarding hard work.
How do I start Sales Leadership?
Firstly, you need to join AVON as a Representative. You can then choose to start Sales Leadership straight away if you wish. Make sure you choose the right team to join AVON with. Teams differ in the level of support they provide, and you want the best help you can get in starting your business. Make sure you ask plenty of questions during your appointment, if you’re not 100% happy with the person who has come to visit you, you don’t have to join their team.
Once you have joined AVON as a Representative your Upline Sales Leader can tag you as a trainee, and will begin your training.
The Training process
Does Sales Leadership Cost money to start?
You have to join as a Representative which costs £15. You pay nothing up front and receive your first two sets of brochures free. The £15 is broken down into two lots of £7.50 which comes out of your first and second lot of commission. This is the one and only payment you have to make to join as a Representative. To become a Sales Leader there is a £25 fee for which you receive a business in Additional running costs
You will need to supply each Representative who joins your team with an appointment pack and brochures, you have to buy these. AVON will refund you £5.49 for every one of your Representative’s that places an order over £78 to cover your cost of these items. Any additional items such as business tools or samples you choose to give your new Representative will come out of your own pocket. It is entirely up to you what financial investment you put into your team but AVON Cornwall believes in getting their Representatives off to a good start with all the tools they need to achieve great sales, the additional materials we hand out works out as less than £1 per Representative and has great results.
Other costs can include things like; petrol, parking, advertisement (optional), phone calls, stationary, internet access
Do you have to be able to drive to do Sales Leadership?
No, but depending on where you live it may be advisable.
Are there any requirements in order to earn commission as a Sales Leader?
Yes, you will need the following

Don’t worry if the requirements sound daunting, it is actually easier to achieve then it sounds especially with good support and training.
Can I recruit Representatives to join my team anywhere?
You may recruit anywhere within the United Kingdom, as long as you are able to train and support your Representative with their business.
Are there any restrictions on how I recruit?
Yes, AVON has guidelines which keep within the law and for best practice. These will be discussed during your first training session.
