AVON World Tour

It is Avon's 125th birthday, to mark the occasion a couple of weeks ago, Reese Witherspoon - not just an award-winning actress but also an Avon Global Ambassador - joined Avon Chairman and CEO Andrea Jung to launch the company’s 125th Anniversary year with a celebration in Atlanta, Georgia, for more than 5,000 Avon Representatives. The event was part of the 16-city “Avon Believe World Tour” which is celebrating the company’s heritage and belief in its mission to empower women.

Throughout 2011, the tour will be visiting 16 cities across the globe, namely Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, Istanbul, New York, Chicago, Mexico City, Warsaw, Moscow, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Manila, Shanghai, New Delhi, Johannesburg and ... Birmingham ! Special guests such as Fergie, Patrick Dempsey, Suze Orman, Zoe Saldana and Yasmin Le Bon are expected to make appearances at many of the events.

A new $1 million Avon Global Believe Fund has also been launched, to support women’s domestic violence shelters and agencies in each of the 16 cities on the tour. In partnership with the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV), the Avon Foundation aims to draw attention to the alarming lack of adequate services for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, as well as set up an international network of non-profit organisation to help them.

I am one of the lucky ones to receive a ticket and will be joining over 4,000 other UK Representatives in Birmingham this month.

President's Club

Avon Presidents Club members represent the top 7% of Avon representatives in the UK.  To be a member takes some hard work but the opportunity is open and available to all and brings with it some exclusive benefits.
The path to Presidents Club membership and the various levels of achievement are clear and basically the more you sell, the more you get in return.  The base entry to this exclusive club is awarded when you have achieved £6500 of Award Sales within 18 campaigns. The different levels are shown below.

Some basic calculations tell you the following:

- For bronze (and associate) membership you need to average around £360 sales per campaign.
- For silver membership you need to average around £860 sales per campaign.
- For gold membership you need to average around £1860 per campaign.

You can check your current status by logging into your personal Avon representative website and selecting Presidents Club from the My Account tab.  Your achievements will also be shown on each campaigns invoice and you will receive a letter from Anna Segatti, the Avon President for UK and Ireland, when you achieve each level.
Good luck!

How does it work?

The process is simple

1 - You deliver your brochures
2 - A few days later collect the brochures and orders
3 - Place your orders with Avon
4 - Avon Delivers your orders to you along with an invoice
5 - You deliver to your customers and collect payment
6 - You pay avon and keep your share of the money

So if your customers order £500 worth of goods then you would pay avon £375 and you would keep the remaining £125.
